Android wear is now compatible with iOS

Already discussed for some time, now the Wear Android compatibility with iOS is now reality. So even iPhone users can enjoy every day another smartwatch that Apple Watch.

In March, Google announced that 01Net wanted to post on the App Store an application that allows to pair a watch on Android Wear connected with an iPhone. The wait has been long, but now Google has (finally) announce the compatibility of its operating system for connected devices and iOS. He had glimpsed last weekend, having referenced a Huawei Amazon Watch compatible with Android devices ... and soon iPhone iOS 8.2.

Today, android wear for iOS will be deployed, allowing to pair its iPhone 5 5c 5s, 6 or 6 Plus (iOS 8.2 and above) with Android smartwatch Wear. Caution, however, not all are compatible for the moment, and only the LG Watch Urbane has the luxury of being associated with the brand apple smartphone. All future watches connected however be compatible, including Huawei (presented on the above visual), Asus and Motorola to be announced or shown again this week at the IFA 2015.

On an iPhone, it will be possible to consult with key information (notifications, calls, messages ...) to follow his fitness data, or to conduct research with the voice command "OK Google".

Google does not say however what the system will be cut when it arrives on iOS. Given the operation of the Apple OS, it seems indeed difficult to benefit from extensive interactions with third-party applications. Thus, you will receive notifications, but certainly can not fully control the applications other than Google from your smartwatch.
